The Apetumodu of Ipetumodu in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State, Oba (Prof) Olufunminiyi Olugbenga Oloyede, Latimogun 1, has called on the residents of the ancient community to troop out en mass and join him as all is now set for the 2021 Ipetumodu Day Celebration.
The Apetumodu made this known in a press statement jointly issued and made available to journalists by the Chairman and Secretary, Ipetumodu Progressive Union, IPU, Elder Taiwo Oyetade and Mr Kehinde Oyetunmbi on Friday.
The traditional ruler said this year’s edition of Ipetumodu Day would be a unique one as people from all walks of life is expected to join the community in celebrating the day as well as N500m Appeal Fund for the building of Apetumodu Ultramodern Palace.
“The Chairman Planning Committee is Mr Babatunde Oyatokun while the annual ceremony would hold tomorrow (Saturday) the 6th of November, 2021, at Origbo Community High School Playground, Ipetumodu at 10am”.
“Similarly, the Chairman of the day is, Professor Adesola Aderounmu, Chief Launcher is Chief (Dr) Emmanuel Odegbami, while the National President, Dr S.O. Oyebowale and National Secretary, Elder Oluwole Olaniyi among others would be at the event.
