2023: Kwankwaso visits Nasarawa, promises to secure Nigeria

New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, has said he will work towards restoration of peace and security if elected president of Nigeria come 2023.

 

The former Kano State Governor made this known when he paid a courtesy visit to the paramount ruler of Keffi, Dr Shehu Chindo Ysmusa111, in his palace on Saturday.

According to the presidential hopeful of the NNPP, the visit to the emir of keffi becomes imperative owing to his respect for the emirate and to the entire people of Keffi.

“Although, I am billed for some functions in Lafia, where I will be performing the commissioning ceremony of NNPP campaign office, but for my respect to the Emir and members of Keffi, I had to stop over before proceeding to Lafia,” he stated.

 

Responding, the monarch of Keffi emirate council, Dr Shehu Chindo Yamusa111, appreciated Kwankwaso for considering Keffi as his home.

The emir of Keffi wished the presidential hopeful good luck and Allah’s blessings ,saying, “Ours as traditional rulers is to continue to pray for the peace and prosperity of the country and its citizenry in anticipation of whoever God will choose”.

Earlier, the Nasarawa state coordinator of Kwankwaso for President ,Alhaji Mohammed El-kabir Wakili, said the visit to the Emir of Keffi was to solidify the already established relationship with the people of Keffi.
