2023 Senatorial Election: A A Senatorial candidate steps down for ADC candidate

The Senatorial candidate, Abia Central zone, African Democratic Congress (ADC),Hon.(Dr.) John Abraham Godson,a one time Senator in the Polish Republic,has continued to earn endorsement from other parties for the forth coming Senatorial Election.

 

The latest to endorse his candidacy for Abia Central Senatorial seat, is the Senatorial candidate for Abia Central of Action Alliance (AA),Rev. Dennis Ifeanyichukwu Ubani.

 

He made this known on Thursday in Umuahia, while briefing the media after he stepdown officially for his African Democratic Congress counterpart, adding that no financial benefit was attached to the endorsement.

 

He said that having gone through the ADC senatorial candidate profile and his track records in the service of God and humanity both at home in Nigeria and in diaspora (Poland) in particular,I decided to step down for him as he is a better candidate for Abia Central Senatorial seat.

 

According to him,”I observed that he is the most credible candidate amongst the league of all senatorial candidates. I do hereby relinquish my candidacy for him and promised to work assiduously for him towards attaining a landslide victory at the poll alongside my teeming supporters.”

 

ADC Abia senatorial candidate, Hon. Godson, thanked Action Alliance senatorial candidate and his supporters for supporting his candidacy.

 

He said that he feel humbled at their decision to step down for him without any attachments and promised to work with them if elected as a senator of the federal Republic of Nigeria.

 

According to him, “His candidature is not his project, but God’s project,God is looking for people he can use to better the good people of Abia Central Senatorial Zone.”

 

He called on other candidates to put their personal interest aside and back a credible candidate who has all it takes to deliver.

 

Godson who, endorsed Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of labour party, for the presidential election,called on Nigerians and Abians in particular not to vote for political party, but vote people and individuals who have the truck record of service for humanity.
