The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, has assured that federal civil servants will be more responsive and proactive in their service delivery for the common good of all Nigerians in the New Year 2024.

Yemi-Esan said this in her New Year message entitled, “A Renewed Call for Optimal Performance and Efficiency.”
She appealed to the workers to maintain the culture of meritocracy, professionalism, and continuous self-development, as they are “crucial building blocks for the attainment of a globally relevant civil service of our dream.”
It reads in parts:
“I bring hearty greetings to all civil servants, our partners, and stakeholders and give thanks to God Almighty as we celebrate the dawn of the year 2024.

“I thank all civil servants for their support and hard work in 2023. Indeed, none of these wins recorded last year would have been possible without your commitment, camaraderie, resilience, and can-do attitude, which you patriotically brought to bear, especially during the transition of governance in the country.

“The New Year symbolises a new beginning for us all to re-dedicate and renew our drive for the success of the present administration.

“In his wisdom and visionary leadership, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu conceived the Renewed Hope Agenda, a comprehensive plan encompassing all aspects of the country’s socio-economic landscape.

“All operators of the public sector should work together to ensure that the Agenda succeeds for the benefit of all Nigerians.

“On its part and part of the mechanism for implementation, the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation has aligned the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP25) to drive the Renewed Hope Agenda.”

Yemi-Esan wished civil servants “a truly peaceful, prosperous, and productive 2024.”
