The designation of investment banker Farooq Oreagba as a worldwide ambassador of arts and culture has been announced by the Nigerian government.
The announcement was posted on Instagram by Obi Asika, the National Council of Arts and Culture’s director general.
“MD/CEO Designate of NG Clearing Limited, Mr. Farooq Oreagba, appointed Honorary Global Ambassador for the National Council for Arts and Culture, under Chief @obiasika’s leadership,” Obi Asika stated while holding up the Certificate of Recognition Award.
His popularity arose from his powerful performance at the 2024 Ojude Oba festival, where his ageless’steeze’ pictures celebrated Nigerian economic potential and history.
“He hadn’t gone viral when I last met him, but things have changed since then. Asika said, “He is now the King of Steeze and brought attention worldwide.”
The “King of Steeze” also shared the goodwill on his page, expressing his gratitude to the Nigerian government for the chance to share his happiness.
At the 2024 Ojude Oba Festival, Farooq Oreagba, one of the many striking attendees, stole the show.
