More than 73.67% of the Edo governorship election results have been posted on the Independent National Electoral Commission’s Result Viewing Portal.
Out of the 4,519 voting places in the state where elections were held, 3329 results have been posted.
Recall that the results of the governorship election would be sent electronically, as promised by Anugbum Onuoha, the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) in Edo.
In a Saturday interview with Arise Television, Onuoha emphasized that the transmission of results to the viewing portal (IReV) could only be impeded by a subpar network.”We have provided BVAS operators with training. They’re all set. The purpose of BVAS is to verify voters and determine the overall number of people who will cast ballots in that polling unit at that level.
“After that, voters will begin casting their ballots. He gave his word that the results will be tallied at the end of the day and uploaded to our IReV.
