Lagos Peoples Democratic Party leader and elder statesman, Chief Olabode George, has described the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, as an ingrate who lacks respect for elders.
George, who was reacting to a statement credited to Fayose that he should be removed as the leader of the PDP in Lagos, said in an interview with BBC Yoruba that Fayose was an ingrate that was always biting the hand that fed him.
He claimed to have helped Fayose several times in the past and that the former governor was exhibiting the characteristics of a child that was badly brought up.
George said Fayose was fond of talking loosely and advised him to fix the crisis in the Ekiti PDP rather than dabbling into issues concerning the Lagos PDP.
He said he was still in politics for the love of Lagos State and not because of any personal benefits.
