The Peoples’ Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial aspirant in the 2022 election in Osun State, Hon John Fasogbon has said that, he is joining the race because society has given him so much and it is time for him to return to society what it has given him.
Hon Fasogbon who promised to turn around the fortunes of the state made this known while fielding questions from journalists in Ile-Ife on Friday.
The PDP gubernatorial aspirant assured that, if voted into power, he would work assiduously towards the transformation of the state through his developmental and meaningful programmes that would better every citizen.
He said, his government would work for the development of rural dwellers as he would create a better life programme for them.
The Ife born politician promised the people of the State of his intention to advance development in education, job opportunities through integrated exploration of technology, improved welfare for public service workers and other prospective strategies to ensure that the state becomes better and greater above others.
“There is going to be prompt payment of civil servants salary as well as their promotion as and when due, also the retirees to cater for adequately with payment of their benefits and pension.
“Similarly, there is going to be social welfare programmes while agriculture will be use to boost the state economy among other better life developmental programmes under my administration” he promised.
Hon Fasogbon who is a grassroots mobilizer, God-fearing, philanthropist and particularly caring politician has organised developmental programmes for youths and other initiatives for entrepreneurs in the state.
When speaking on how he is going to tackle the issue of insecurity when finally becomes the state governor, he said, “I have all it takes to tackle insecurity in our dear state as I know how to use kinetic and non-kinetic approaches to get the security of the state at the top realm”.
