The trial of 12 aids to the embattled Sunday Igboho, at the Federal High court Abuja begins today as the Department of State Services(DSS) Monday, presented the defendants before the court.
The defendants were arrested and been in the custody of the secret police, when they raided Igboho’s resident since July 1.
Sequel to that, they approached the court citing that there is an infringement on their fundamental human rights.
At the last adjourned date, Justice Obiora Egwuatu of the court ordered the prosecution agency to produce the aids in court on August 2nd, after failing to comply on July 29th order.
The Judge stressed that when a court of competent Jurisdiction, gives an order, such must be respected and obeyed.
Justice Egwatu, thereafter, made an order directing the DSS to make way for the Counsel to see them between today and the next adjourned date.
