The Bayelsa state government has declared tomorrow, 2nd November 2021 as a public holiday.
According to a press statement signed by the state commissioner for Information, Orientation and Strategy, Hon. Ayiba Duba stated that ” His Excellency Senator Douye Diri, Executive Governor of Bayelsa state has declared, Tuesday 2nd November, 2021 as work-free day in line with the state Annual Thanksgiving law to enable both public and private sector workers to participate fully”.
The statement further stated that, “the clergy, friends and good people of Bayelsa state are invited to join hands with the state government to appreciate God almighty for his unending mercies and abundant blessings for the land and people of the state”.
