NPS Team Pays Courtesy Visit To SAN, Yusuf Ali

A group of patriots led by the chairman, Dr. Ejike Orji on Tuesday paid a courtesy visit to the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Yusuf Ali to formally invite him to be a part of the maiden edition of the National Patriots Summit.

Following recent cases of insecurity, unemployment, and social vices, the National Patriots Summit group revealed plans to mobilize one million Nigerians from different states across the country to contribute their quota to national development.

Speaking on behalf of the group, Dr. Ejike expressed that the Nigeria he was born into is not the same country anymore which is why the youths have come together to birth the national conversation idea which is the National Patriots submit using volunteerism and patriotism as a driving force.

Convener of the National Patriots Summit, Ambassador Phil Roberts, stated that the NPS movement is a non-partisan, non-political, non-religious, and non-ethnic movement, adding that stakeholders will meet on December 9 to chart the way forward, expressing optimism that the summit will give birth to a Nigeria devoid of rancor, ethnicity and parochial interests.

On his part, Yusuf Ali, appreciated and commended the youths for birthing a great idea. He also thanked the chairman of the committee, Dr. Ejike for agreeing to be part of such a great vision which is highly patriotic, adding that no country thrives when their best are leaving. He endorsed the project and promised his full support.

Members of the team included; the Chairman, Dr. Ejike Orji, Esther Ephraim, Juliet, Phil Robert(convener), Edwin Iwuagwu, Okonkwo Ugochi Sonia, Oguntokun Oluleye, Okoye Ikemefuna Valentine.
