Nigerian billionaire businessman and Chairman of Atlas Oranto Group, Prince Arthur Eze has applauded the Central African President, Professor Faustin Touadera over improved security, restoration of peace and economic development of the country.
He noted that no meaningful development can thrive in an atmosphere of rancor, hence the need to sustain the momentum of securing the nation so as to rejuvenate the economy for enhanced development.
Prince Arthur Eze made the remarks while receiving the Central African Republic’s Minister of Arts, Culture and Tourism, Ms. Jennifer Yanzere-SARAÏVA who paid him a courtesy call at his residence Saturday in Abuja.
Prince Eze while calling for an Afrocentric approach to the development of African countries further assured that his conglomerate would look at possible areas of investment in the Central African Republic that would be mutually beneficial to the two countries by creating employment, economic development and the promotion of bilateral relations.
Earlier in her remarks, Ms. Saraiva appreciated the role of Nigeria in the stability of the continent through its numerous assistances to its neigbhours in the areas of defence, security and other economic growth.
She said her country is looking up to Nigeria as the premier economic powerhouse in Africa to not only come and invest, but bring its experiences to bare.
She stated further that as a country, they are particularly interested in African investors to help transform the economic landscape.
Saraiva noted that the mining, agricultural and petroleum sectors are valuable for investors because of the possibility of exportation of commodities, including gold, diamonds, coffee, and timber.
“The nation has implemented several reforms to draw in investment. These include steps to protect investors, lower startup capital requirements, the creation of a framework for public-private cooperation, and tax incentives for firms.” She said.
The Central African Republic with President Touadera has continued to promote stability and social cohesion as well as its enormous natural potential to draw all the dividends of peace and sustainable development.
