Sanwo-Olu says, “We Will Use Technology To Solve Local Challenges.”

According to Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, his administration would keep using technology to address regional problems sustainably.

Speaking at Endeavor Nigeria’s Annual Scale Up Entrepreneurship Summit on Tuesday at Victoria Island’s Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos, the governor said that among other things, this will guarantee food security, an effective multimodal transportation system, high-quality education, and effective healthcare service delivery.
According to Sanwo-Olu, his administration is well aware that the primary function of government in the developing global ecosystem is to enable potentials to be realized by providing essential infrastructure and enacting laws designed to make conducting business easier.

He declared: “We are laying fiber optics to improve Internet connection as one of the initiatives we are implementing to support the tech and initiatives ecosystem. We are also supporting over 12,710 Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) to access over N8.4 billion in loans through the Lagos State Employment Trust Fund.”

By training young entrepreneurs in the use of contemporary technology-enabled agricultural techniques and practices for the production of jobs and wealth, we are also increasing agricultural productivity through the Agri-partnership (L.A.P) intervention.

“As a government, we are giving top priority to and funding programs that will expand the use of technology in procedures and concepts meant to address local problems sustainably and achieve policy goals in areas like education, healthcare, food security, and effective multimodal transportation.

Knowing that Endeavor Nigeria is a fantastic partner with whom we can work in concert to give our aspiring entrepreneurs the help they need makes me very happy.

While congratulating Endeavor Nigeria’s leadership, Governor Sanwo-Olu said it is highly commendable that the organization has been steadfastly committed since 2018 to bringing about a new era of growth and economic development in Nigeria that is driven by high-impact entrepreneurship through the annual summit and other support systems.

Declared the following: “Endeavor Nigeria, as a global free enterprise network, has played a crucial role in spearheading the high-impact entrepreneurship

mobility, quickening their development by creating a powerful free

business ecosystem in developing markets originating from many sectors that

can bring about economic opportunities and the creation of jobs, transforming the Nigerian economy.

“We have to give Endeavor Nigeria credit for providing the venue and

support that has allowed amazing businesses to emerge that have made use of technology and innovation. These businesses

like Paga, Daystar Power, Piggy Vest, Flutter Wave, and Moniepoint

have attained remarkable worldwide recognition because to the

application of technology and creativity to provide remedies for

difficulties, particularly in the banking industry and in tech-driven

systems that facilitate smooth transactions.
