It is now becoming vividly clear that the quest for representing Nasarawa West Senatorial District which Senator Aliyu Ahmed Wadada pursued to attain was never a drive for selfish wealth gathering.
New National Star confidently reports that since June last year when the erudite politician, Ahmed Aliyu Wadada was sworn in as senator representing the western senatorial zone it has recorded not less than Three(3) pronounced and people-oriented empowerment schemes.
The first was the distribution of skills-promoting items that included sawing machines, grinding machines farming equipment, and fertilizers, on a second round the senator distributed over 5000 bags of rice during the yuletide season and now the distributions of 32 motorcycles to his constituents, on Sunday at keffi, the headquarter of Keffi local government area in the state.
Represented by his legislative aide Alhaji Salihu Atiku, Senator Wadada made emphasis on his style of leadership which he said it is all about bettering the lives of the people and creating an enabling environment for human development.
Senator Wadada further told the beneficiaries of the gesture that he will not let them down as long as God enables him with a long life and the opportunity to continue to serve them at all levels he finds himself.
” We did not only seek for your votes only to become your rulers but we pursue this course to render service and bring transformation to our communities. I owe you a duty for a better dividend of democracy and by the grace of God, we shall deliver through educating and empowering you in the best way we can.
” Let me also appeal to those that may have for one reason or the other not benefited that you are not being neglected but time will definitely dawn on you and you will be among other beneficiaries in no distance time. I urged you to continue to pray and be patient believing that it shall be your turn one day, because my team of aides are working round the clock without segregation and sentiments to how who get the dividend of democracy” Wadada maintained.
Our correspondent reports that Senator Wadada won the the ticket of the Senate under the platform of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) in the 2023 general election defeating candidates of the ruling All Progressive Congress and the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party(PDP).
