Nasarawa State Governor Engineer Abdullahi Alhaji Sule has made significant and tremendous impact in changing infrastructure, economy, agriculture, education and must importantly health care service delivery.

Lifting of embargo on employment and conversion of all casual worker who are now permanent and pensionable staff of the state government.
Governor Abdullahi Sule Stopped percentage payments and ensured prompt payment of salaries and pensions. On of the recent development was the released of N1 billion to clear backlog of gratuities in the state from 1999 – 2010.
Nasarawa State is ranked 1st in infrastructure; human capital development and e-governance policy implementation, and has been rated the best performing state in Nigeria in the World Bank sponsored programme (NG – CARES) with N13.6 Billion cash reward for Nasarawa State recently.
The state since it adoption of TSA to promote accountability and transparency in the state accounting system,it recently upgraded the state financial system to Microsoft Dynamic 365 for real time results,making Nasarawa the 3rd state to adopt the system after Kaduna and Anambra.
On developing industries, the Governor Abdullahi Sule delved into establishment of Bus Terminals in Karu and Lafia.,Wooed the FG to takeover the Lafia Airport, as well as the reinstatement and granting Autonomy for VIO with a computerized Vehicle Inspection Centre.
The administration initiated the Construction of dual carriageway, Shendam road in Lafia, the state capital, leading to government house, and approval for phase 2 of the project with N1.350 Billion earmarked. Installation of CCTV in Lafia and environs – N500m earmarked.
Today the state have continued to witness unprecedented influx of foreign mining companies and other investors due to the conducive business environment.
It also facilitated the spudding of oil in Abuni, Obi LGA.
One of the major multinational investor is Dangote Group of Company which has sited Sugar Refinery Factory at Awe.
Engineer Sule in terms of enjoying stability in office since 1999 is the first to go the distance, thus far, with his deputy, over 2 terms.He is also the first governor in Nasarawa State to ensure completion of all projects inherited from his predecessors.

Governor Sule ensured that NASHIA saw the light of the day and became the best reference point for other health insurance agencies across the country.
He Produced the NEDS document, a comprehensive blueprint for short-, medium- and long-term development of Nasarawa State and organized the 1st Economic Submit to woo investors.
Currently the administration is bend on the construction of a state-of-the-art State Secretariat Complex along Shendam road to create the ambience of “Three Arms Zone.”
