Nigerian comic Atunyota Alleluya Akpobome, also referred to as Alibaba, one of the wealthiest comedians in the nation is skit creator Mark Angel.
He claims that Mark Angel’s monthly salary can reach $300,000.
Speaking on the most recent episode of The Honest Bunch Podcast, Alibaba claimed that because Mark Angel doesn’t flaunt his riches, many people do not think he is affluent.
“Some people still don’t believe that Mark Angel is among the wealthiest comedians,” he remarked. That is, unless someone finds out how much money YouTube and Facebook pay him each month. Someone reportedly earns up to $300,000 every month. And you think, “Isn’t that the guy who acts crazy and wears big shorts?”
Alibaba claimed that while many people don’t think Mark Angel is wealthy because he is a comedian, they would if he were a politician, banker, or oil merchant.
He urged people to get over their disdain for the comedy industry.
