No fewer than twenty-four Soludo Support groups gathered at the Dora Akunyili Women’s Development Center to demonstrate their utmost loyalty and support for one of the aspirants for the November 6th, 2021, governorship election in Anambra.
The event witnessed heavy presence of creme de la creme in the state, as well as government officials.
One of the groups, “Youths Earnestly Seek Soludo” YESS, came in their numbers in a flamboyant style that added glamour to the event.
Speaking to journalists, the leaders and Founder of YESS Group, Dr Nelson Omenugha said the event would provide the opportunity to unveil their official political poster for their candidate, Prof Chukwuma Soludo.
Dr Omenugha, who is a lecturer at the Mass Communication Department, Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, disclosed that Prof Soludo had wealth of knowledge and experience to transform the state to a tourist centre.
Omenugha observed that Prof Soludo demonstrated administrative excellence when he was the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
He said, Prof Soludo consolidate the economy of the nation, and would deploy such if elected as the Governor of Anambra state.
Dr Omenugha who expressed optimism that Prof Soludo would win the Governorship ticks, charged youths to throw their support for the former CBN Governor, describing him as a youth with administrative prowess and vision.
On his part, the Chairman of all Soludo Support Group, Hon Glamour Nwoye, charged APGA faithful to identify with their political wards, and ensure they secure their voter’s card.
