Chairman of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, PFN, Anambra State chapter, Bishop Moses Ezedebego, said the National President of PFN, Bishop Francis Wale Oke and other top leaders of the Christian body, will on September 17th, 2021, stormed Anambra State, to pray for the success of the November 6th, 2021 governorship election.

Bishop Ezedebego, disclosed this at the State PFN Headquarters, Amawbia, in Awka South Local Government Area of the State, during a press conference ahead of her annual PFN Day/Prayer Rally, slated for September 17th, 2021, organised by the state PFN in conjunction with PFN Network for Good Governance.

According to the Chairman, Bishop Wale Oke, will also pray for the people of the state and for the peace and unity of Nigeria.

While congratulating all the candidates that emerged from the primaries conducted in all the political parties that will be participating in the election proper, advise the candidates to do their campaign without violence.

“Let it be an issue-based campaign since. It’s not a do or die affair.

“We ask our youths not to allow any candidate to use them during the campaign and elections day proper to ferment trouble.

We have mobilized our teeming members in the state to arm themselves with voters cards to vote for the candidate of their choice on Nov. 6.

“We have emphasized that Anambra State needs a God-fearing man, a good manager of resources, a man of impeccable character and humanity. We need a governor for everybody; someone that will carry everybody along. We are praying for the right candidate to take over Anambra State on Nov. 6, 2021, he added.

He also disclosed that Anambra State PFN among others have set up a PFN for good governance Committee headed by Dr. Amaechi Nwachukwu, to help galvanize and ensure good representation of Ndi-Anambra in governance.

“On agitation/insecurities in the country, he urged the Federal Government to addressed purposefully the issues of agitations and insecurities in the country. The government should not bully and suppress justified agitations but humbly listen and dialogue where it is necessary. We believe that the greatest challenge we have in the country is the monumental corruption in the system which the Government has failed woefully to address properly.

Ezedebego, called on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), to be an impartial empire by giving all the candidates equal and level playing ground during the election.

I  am also calling on all the voters to guard their voters after voting and resist any form of rigging in the coming election. Any money gotten to rig election is blood money and will bring generational curses to the people involved.

He used the opportunity to Commend Governor Willie Obiano for his purposeful leadership and for his good works in Anambra State, the Airport project and other areas of development.
