Andy Uba Not Highjacking APC Registration Exercise – Uba Media Group

Following unconfirmed reports bordering on Senator Andy Uba attempting to highjack the registration of party members in the ongoing registration programme in Anambra State, the Andy Uba Media Office has debunked such claims as false, misleading and mischievous and has asked the media to reject such stories as fictitious in nature.

This was stated in a press statement released by the media office this morning which debunked the allegations of any hijack.

According to the release, “As you can see, the APC in Anambra has been having a seamless registration exercise where citizens of the state owing to the numerous successes of the Federal Government in the state were daily registering in their hundreds with the party.

“Part of this success can be attributed to the efforts of Senator Andy Uba who mobilized every ward in the party with funds and logistics to encourage Ndi Anambra to identify with the party in this current registration exercise.

“Thus it was surprising to see news stories running wild with frivolous allegations on an attempt by our principal to highjack the process.

“Such stories had even accused supporters of the senator both imaginary and real of attacking the state party chairman, Chief Basil Ejidike in Orumba North, a local government within the state, thankfully the state chairman in a press conference has denied such allegations, including that of an attack on his person.

“We wonder why any right-thinking human should perceive that Senator Uba want to highjack the process. What does he stand to benefit from derailing the registration process as alleged by these mischievous few. We, therefore, urge party members and the public to kindly disregard such allegations “

“The media office also announced that what was focal to Senator Uba was to unite the party so that whosoever got the party ticket in the primaries would defeat every opposition in order to claim victory come November 6, 2021.”
