It was a joyous moment yesterday at the Headquarters of All Progressive Congress APC, Awka, Anambra State, as one of the aspirants for November 6, 2021, Anambra Governorship election, Rev Godwin Okonkwo presented a brand new Sienna to the party executives.
Rev Okonkwo while doing the presentation said APC has the capacity to take over the state, come November 6, 2021.
The Anglican Priest disclosed that his mission to govern Anambra is to redeem the state and transform every window of opportunities.
Okonkwo who retired from Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) stressed he will deploy his wealth of knowledge and experience in accounting and managerial services to project the state to limelight.
The NNPC retiree maintained that he would, in addition to his blueprints, attract investors that would harness the potentials of the state and make Anambra the land of tourism.
“When the righteous is on the throne, the people rejoice. I have come to touch lives and give hope to the downtrodden.
“Welfare of the people is my concern. I am here to serve and not to be served. We will ensure adequate accountability and transparency.
“Governance is for all, and I will work harmoniously with all security agencies to strengthen our security and make the state a better place for investment,” Okonkwo added.
