Dr. Akume’s unparalleled track record in unblemished political leadership.
Speaking in a world Press Conference Held in Abuja through its Director-General, Chief Pascal Ojim, who is a Member, Presidential Campaign Council, Member, APC Merger Committee and SA to the former National Chairman, AFANCCO, eulogized the Mai Mala Buni-led Extra-ordinary Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress which he stated are extra-ordinary and blessed with divine wisdom and absolute humility, which propelled the All Progressives Congress to its apogee.
While also commending all stakeholders of the party, Chief Ojim premised AFANCCO’s affirmation of Senator Dr. Akume for APC National Chairman on his well-known attributes as a focused, calm, attentive, progressive, generous, empathic, development-oriented, pragmatic, and God-fearing leader, in addition to other qualities that set him apart from other candidates, who the group noted were also very astute in their respective qualities, but the choice of Sen. Dr. Akume was compelled by the rare, unique attributes he possessed, over and above others. Prime among these niche endowments were Sen. Dr. George Akume’s acumen to lead the All Progressives Congress to more adventurous exploits and political conquests, bountiful harvests, and national prosperity. Sen. Dr. Akume was re-asserted as a tested, trusted, and certified Administrator moving through the ranks in several States and Ministries and Development Agencies (MDAs) and as a public officer, politician, and community leader, whose humility and empathy are infectious. Akume was recognized as a patient and a focused bridge-builder and problem-solver as well as an attentive listener and conflict-resolver, with a massive heart for generosity. George Akume selflessly served the good people of Benue State for two (2) terms of four (4) years each where he left indelible footprints on the sands of time and representing the same people for a record time of three (3) tenures of four (4) years each as a Senator where he distinguished himself in contributions to most critical national discourse and now as serving Minister under a progressive revolutionary administration, his pedigree remains unbeatable and his standing, both unassailable and impregnable.
