Some Communities in Anambra State are to experience total blackout as a result of loss of supply from the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), 132KV line.
The Head, Corporate Communications, Enugu Electricity Distribution Company PLC (EEDC), Mr Emeka Ezeh who announced this said “wishes to inform her esteemed customers in Awka and Ekwulobia, Anambra State that the power outage currently being experienced is as a result of loss of supply from the Transmission Company of Nigeria (TCN), 132KV line, which affected their Agu Awka and Nibo Stations.
“This incident which occurred on Wednesday, 2nd June 2021 affected power supply to the entire Awka district and Neni and Agulu 33KV feeders in Ekwulobia district.
“Consequently, the entire Awka district and Agulu, Nise, Awgbu, Aguluizuigbo, Nanka, Umuchu, Achina, Uga, Obodoukwu, Isuofia, Mkpologwu, Adazinuku, Adaziani, Oraukwu, Nnokwa, Alor, Adazienu, Obelebu, Akwaeze, Igboukwu, Oraezi, Nafdac, Akpamkpisi, Agbadani, Eke Market, Jiodo, Igwe Nri, Nri Boys, Aguluezechukwu Town, Ula, Umuchiana, Some Parts Of Ekwulobia, Ihuokpala, Nkolo, Some Parts Of Oko Road, Agba, Ekuwlobia Road, Eke Ekwulobia, Some Parts Of Stadium Road, Ekekanaya, Ortom Place Hotel, and Bank Road, all in Ekwulobia district are out of supply.
“As we await the restoration of supply by TCN, we sincerely regret the inconveniences this has caused our esteemed customers and assure them that supply will be restored as soon as the TCN team completes the maintenance.
