In compliance with Executive Order No.1 2024 on the proscription of Ethnic vigilante groups and other similar organisations, the Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Shehu Umar Nadada psc, mni wishes to inform the general public that the Police command has received two hundred and sixty-seven (267) pairs of uniforms.
In a statement signed and circulated to newsmen by the Command spokesperson, DSP Ramhan Nansel, it stated that one hundred and two (102) pieces of black belts and one hundred and eighty-nine (189) pieces of infantry lanyards from Kungiyar Zaman Lafiya Nomad vigilante group.
Furthermore, five hundred and sixty-four (564) black berets, three hundred and thirty-nine (339) pieces of black/ ten (10) white lanyards and two (2) identification cards were also received from the aforementioned vigilante group.
The Commissioner of Police hereby calls on those who are yet to comply with the Executive Order to do so on or before the expiration of the two-week ultimatum; as the Command shall ensure that the Ban is enforced to the latter.
