Bayelsa United forward Robert Mizo has been voted as the 2023 Nigeria Premier Football League NPFL undiluted best player award held last night in Lagos.
Mizo who hails from Imiringi in Ogbia Local Government Area of Bayelsa State scored nine goals for the Prosperity Boys last season to finish second behind Enyimba’s for Emeka Obioma.
The Bayelsa United forward has scored 10 goals this season in the NPFL to make it 19 goals in the year 2023 for the Prosperity Boys.
Robert Mizo won the award ahead of his closess contender Sikiru Alimi of Remo Stars to win the award, he was also voted as the NPFL top scorer of the year 2023.
Mizo in his reaction on his verified Facebook page said “beyond grateful, thank you to everyone who has supported my journey until this point, can’t fully express my appreciation!
