Benue PPRO says no update on kidnapped polytechnic Rector

The police public Relations officer PPRO Superintendent of the Benue State police command Superintendent Catherine Anene has disclosed that there is no update in respect of the Kidnapped Acting rector of Benue polytechnic Ugbokolo Dr Emmanuel Barki.

New National Star Checks leant the rector was kidnapped on Friday accompanied with other management staff of the institution and his driver while returning after an official engagement.

The police image maker reiterated that since the incident occurred we have not received Any clues from anyone.

It could be recalled that close ally to the rector revealed that his abductors were demanding ransom of 70m seventy million naira.

While speaking on the development Former Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria CAN Dr Aspen leva has condemned the acts referring it as barbaric and query why deprived freedom of movement by unknown gunmen.
