Peoples Democratic Party’s chieftain and elder statesman, Chief Olabode George, has called for the permanent dismantling of the two toll gates at Lekki immediately.
He also demanded that the agreements between Alphabeta, Lekki Concession Company and the Lagos State Government should be scrapped.
George, who was reacting to the Lekki toll gate killings and the aftermath, also said the advert signage monopoly given to Seyi Tinubu should be withdrawn.
According to him, the Iya Oloja title should also be withdrawn from Shade Tinubu and given to the individual who deserves it.
George, who was speaking on what could placate the youth in Lagos, added that the NURTW in the state should also be reorganised and removed from the control of political actors.
He also called for the scrapping of the outrageous pension scheme for immediate former governors of the state.
George also called for free education from primary to secondary school level in the state, while advocating free healthcare for the needy.
“All these can be easily funded from the outrageous allowances and pension schemes given to both serving and former public office holders,” he added.
