Traders at the Kawura market, Prince and Princess are wailing and counting their losses due to an early morning inferno that burnt down a section of the market beyond recognition.
An eye witness account indicated that the fire started in the wee hours of today from the food section of the market when the local security workers noticed a huge smoke inside the market.
A woman trader in the market who lost millions of Naira she planned to go to market with this morning was seen rolling on the ground as she couldn’t control her emotions, shouting help, help in desperation.
The traders are calling for assistance from the government and kind hearted Nigerians to comfort them at these trying times.
