The Group Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Montage Africa, Ogochukwu Ezeaku, has commended the President of Central African Republic (CAR), Faustin Archange Touadera, for his giant strides in the restoration of peace and move towards economic stability.
Ezeaku gave the commendation when he paid a courtesy visit to Touadera at the State House in Bangui.
The Montage boss said a lot more has changed since President Touadera took over the mantle of leadership with visible socio-economic development while opening up to potential foreign investors.
He emphasized that the Group is interested in building a partnership that is mutually beneficial to both Nigeria and the CAR in addition to developing the skills of the youth and generating employment.
Mr Ezeaku, while calling on potential investors to take advantage of the prevailing peaceful atmosphere, stressed that CAR has a lot to gain from the experiences and expertise of the Nigerian business community.
In his response, President Touadera commended Montage Africa for the various business opportunities it has opened up in the country, which he said, has empowered many youth in the areas of training and employment.
He further called on the Nigerian business community to take advantage of the enormous business opportunities in mining and other sectors of the economy.
Montage Africa is the publisher of the nation’s biggest and widely read newspaper, Tongolo Ti BeAfrica.
The CAR is a landlocked country in Central Africa, bordered by Chad to the north, Sudan to the northeast, South Sudan to the southeast, the DR Congo to the south, the Republic of the Congo to the southwest, and Cameroon to the west.
President Touadera, since assumption of office, has restored peace and security in the once troubled nation after over 30 years of violent armed conflict.
