Nasir El-Rufai, the former governor of Kaduna State, has been criticized by veteran singer and activist Charles Oputa, often known as Charly Boy, for his recent political appearances.
El-Rufai’s relationship with some prominent opposition party figures had stoked rumors that he was loyal to President Bola Tinubu and a member of the ruling All Progressives Congress.
Clowns are being paid to defend the current regime, according to recent accusations made by the former governor.
However, in a video that was uploaded to his verified X handle on Tuesday, Charly Boy claimed that El-Rufai is not unique and accused the former governor of engaging in similar political activities while in government.
“WAKE UP CALL FOR NAIJA!” he said. El-Rufai packs light, but what is your own agenda? It’s time for cashtivists, politicians, and keyboard warriors to mature! No politician is innocent, and no government is sacred.
“We are worthy of better! Instead of using dishonesty and manipulation, let’s share a single love. We must stop allowing people to take advantage of us for their own ends.
