Consider issues you can resolve, Bishop Oyedepo advises Nigerian youths

Bishop David Oyedepo, the Chancellor of Covenant University in Ota, Ogun, has urged the young people to be job creators rather than job seekers in order to have a greater influence.

On Thursday in Ota, Oyedepo made the accusation in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

He acknowledged Nigeria’s unemployment problem and argued that creating jobs will help.

Oyedepo urged the young people to be agents of change and providers of solutions.

Young people should be contributors rather than job seekers, according to the chancellor.

“Every contributor becomes successful,” he said.

It is impossible to contribute and fail at the end.

“What you do not challenge, you cannot overcome, and what you do not oppose has the right to stay.”

He added, “Consider a problem that you can solve.”

In order to achieve distinct but desired results, Oyedepo encouraged the youth to think creatively.
