The Theatre Commander Joint Task Force (JTF) North East (NE) Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Major General Christopher Musa has charged troops to neutralize all terrorists’ elements hibernating in their enclaves within the Northeast region of Nigeria.
General Musa gave the charge Saturday during the graduation ceremony of The Theatre Training School’s In-Theatre Train-the-Trainers’ Course Batch 3/2022 at the Maimalari Military Cantonment, Maiduguri.
He also cautioned them against unprofessional conduct in the discharge of their constitutional duty.
While addressing participants, the GOC 7 Div and Commander Sector 1 OPHK Major General Waidi Shaibu equally advised troops of OPHK to take training seriously and maintain a high level of discipline during training and operations.
Earlier in his welcome address, the Theatre Training Officer (TTO), Brigadier General EO Oduyebo disclosed that the participants were drawn from various units across the Theatre. He averred that the two weeks rigorous training is designed to expose participants to human right law, leadership, as well as Military techniques, tactics and procedures that will aid troops effectively neutralize adversaries an bring the war to an end.
A total of 78 participants of the comprising of 5 Officers and 73 Soldiers graduated.
Highlight of the event was the presentation of certificate of attendance, reward to best graduating student in all aspects of the training, course critic and lesson learnt session as well as group photograph.
The hitch free ceremony was attended by Component Commanders, Formations and Unit Commanders, Principal Staff Officers, Instructors and course participants.
