Deeper Life Bible Church Ameka, Ikwo, dedicates church building donated by Chief Christian Asaga Nwali

Abuja based popular hotelier and serial entrepreneur, Architect Chief Christian Asaga Nwali, has expressed happiness and fulfilment with the action of Deeper Life Bible Church (DLBC), Ameka, Ikwo, Ebonyi State, to dedicate a church building his organization built and donated to them.

Speaking with New National Star on Tuesday, Chief Christian Asaga Nwali, who was recently conferred with the chieftaincy title of the “Ide Jiulo 1 of Izzi Nnodo Kingdom” by the entire Izzi Nnodo community in Ebonyi State, said he built the church for the community in the honour of his mother, who had kept faith with the church till date, despite her children and other people leaving for different churches.

He said he was equally convinced to undertake the church building project for God as he was brought up from the church, alongside his siblings and that the doctrine of the church shaped them to become what they are today as they embraced holy Christian living.

He said: “Deeper life Bible Church, Ameka, Ikwo, on Sunday, dedicated the church building we built and donated to them by the grace of God. We were brought up from this church. The doctrine shaped us. The experience we had all through primary and secondary school stages still remain so impeccable. One of the experiences that I can’t forget was how I kept feeling that Christ would come the next minute. This was actually the driving force to holy Christian living. I pray for the later rain to be greater than the former. Amen!

“However, my beloved mum kept faith with the church till date, even when my siblings and I had left for other churches. Our mum still attends DLBC with some of her numerous Ogboos. In her honour and to the greater glory of God Almighty, I built the church building for God.

“I am happy that the services have been moved from the primary school class room to this church building to the glory of God Almighty and courtesy of our efforts towards community development by the Grace of God. God bless the worshipers and God bless you all.”

On his part, the officiating minister, Pastor Benedict Efor, expressed happiness that Chief Nwali has helped to assuage and ameliorate the sufferings and inconveniences of the worshippers as the building of the church led their moving their worship from the primary school classroom to the church building worshipping.

“We are grateful to Chief Christian Asaga Nwali for this show of love and dedication to the work of God. The construction of the church means a lot to us as we have now moved from the classroom to the church building. We pray for God to continue blessing him with good health, long life and prosperity,” he said.

Recall that Nwali has been gaining recognition and appreciation by his people is as a result of his philanthropic activities and humanitarian interventions, including employing over 500 Nigerians, scholarship programs, marriage sponsorship of his employees, distributing cars to his employees at Cirenes Hotels in Abakaliki, Exclusive Serene Hotels and Suites in Enugu and in Wuye, Abuja, among others.
