… Alleges Impersonation, Fraud

Minister of Women Affairs, Barrister Uju Kennedy Ohanenye, Thursday stormed State House Banquet Hall and stopped a live programme organized in the Ministry’s name by Mela ChiYoma PAT Limited.
Barrister Ohanenye who at the gathering of diplomats and invited dignitaries accused organizers of impersonation and fraud.
The programme had a broad banner written “Federal Ministry of Women Affairs in Collaboration with Mela ChiYoma PAT Limited, Unveiling the Power of women and food security”.
In her words: “Unveiling the power of women and food security was convened in the name of the Ministry of Women Affairs without approval.
“There is an impersonating thing going on here. The Federal Ministry of Women Affairs did not plan this.
“And the lady, I have arrested her. Right now, she is with the Department of State Service (DSS) because she put up this after we wrote that we are cancelling, the president has approved that we should cancel until further notice, she still went ahead to print this thing (the brochure).
“This is impersonation. As far as this thing was given out there, that makes it a fraud. So, that is why I am standing here to explain this to everyone. She has been arrested.
“She should have reorganiszed herself, use her name to make the invitation and use her name to do this, not to use Federal Ministry of Women Affairs.
“I can’t allow this programme to move on, am sorry it. Am going to get in police because this is pure Impersonation and the president is not happy about it.
“I am saying this. Let the media cover it; I don’t care. You don’t do this. You don’t take the ministry for granted.”
Speaking on a phone call with the Chief organizer (the Host), Mrs. Patricia Stan Dioka, to get her reaction, she said “For now, I have nothing to say, I leave everything for God.”
