The Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers has expressed shock at the sudden death of the member representing Ekiti East Constituency 1 in the House Assembly, Hon. Oluwajuwa Adegbuyi. The Rulers have also commiserated with the immediate family of the deceased and all members of the State assembly.
Speaking on behalf of his colleagues, the Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti and Chairman of Ekiti Council of Traditional Rulers, HRM, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, Afuntade 1 said that from available records and the comments, the late Hon Adegbuyi was no doubt a reliable, vibrant and hardworking representative of his people in the Ekiti State House of Assembly.
The Alawe noted that the death of such a person acclaimed to be one of the finest lawmakers in the sixth assembly would definitely create a vacuum which will be difficult to fill.
Oba Alabi on behalf of Traditional rulers in the State, expressed condolences to members of the State Assembly while
commiserating with members of the immediate family of the late Hon Adegbuyi and prayed that God would grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss and grant the soul of the departed an eternal rest.
