Enyimba fan attacks Super Eagles coach over club neglect

Enyimba FC of Aba’ s fan  Bethel Kalu has attacked the Super Eagles head coach Jose Peseiro  for total disregard for the biggest club in Nigeria apex league.
Kalu said, Enyimba been a former CAF and NPFL Champions should be the subject of interest of any national team coach who is interested in the league.
He noted that, the immediate past head coach of the Super Eagles,  Gernot Rohr never visited the Enyimba Stadium to watch any Enyimba game. The Enyimba game he saw live was the game between Rivers United and Enyimba in Port Harcourt.
“It is almost one year of Peseiro’s reign as Super Eagles coach and he has been traveling round the country, without visiting the home of Nigeria’s biggest club. Is this an oversight or a deliberate disregard for Nigeria’s most prestigious club?
“The NFF, as a matter of urgency should mandate and sponsor Jose Peseiro to watch at least one Enyimba’s game.
“As a foreign coach, one of the things he must know about is the biggest club in the country and must watch them at home.
“Imagine a foreign coach not watching TP Mazembe at home, not watching Al Ahly, Mamelodi Sundowns, Wydad, Esperance.  A foreign coach that respects the country’s culture and history would see the biggest team at home, especially when they play another big team in the country,” he said.
However, he advised the NFF and Jose Peseiro to respond to this matter urgently. Jose’s passion for Nigerian football is contagious and exciting and he has not hidden his love for the country’s football. Still, the right things should be done.
According to Kalu, “the Enyimba Stadium is where stars have been made. Where some of the Super Eagles most memorable players played; Vincent Enyeama, Kalu Uche, Dele Aiyenugba, Obinna Nwaneri, and others that brought pride to the country’s football. A ground that has given the NFF and Nigerian football a seat in the table of champions. Any Super Eagles coach should, and must, visit the stadium,” he opined.
