The Twentieth years on the throne anniversary celebration of the paramount ruler of Karu , Pharmacist Luka Panya Baba was a historic and an epoc ceremony .
The event which held at the Esu Karu ground on Saturday drew over 21 Traditional rulers from within and across Nasarawa State,with no fewer than 27 ethnic groups of plateau, Borno, Benue Kaduna, Niger and Akwa Ibom.
Others includes Imo people and those from Cross River States,in particular at the event to cheer De cream Dela Cream guest, are the Goza ,Ngas, Tarok, TiV , Idoma, Koro, Jaba, Egede, Madam, Eggon, Ibo and the calabar speaking people to mention but a few.
Guest that made it to the event of the Esu Karu 20th Anniversary are the Honourable Speaker of the House of Representatives ,Rt Honourable Abbas Tajudeen ,Speaker of the Nasarawa State Assembly,Rt Honourable Danladi Jatau, former Minister of FCT , Lt General Jeremiah T.Useni, Professor Jerry Gana ,former deputy governor’s of Nasarawa State, Honourable Jonathan Gaza.
Others are senator Philip Aduda and the chairman Nasarawa State Traditional Councils of Chiefs ,Justice Sidi Bage and the Mai Kaltongo ,aside top military officials.
New National Star report that top of the event was the conferment of traditional tittle on the speaker, Honourable Abbas Tajudeen as the Kpata of Karu Chiefdom, meaning the Shield of Karu .
There was also presentation of award to the celebrant by his secondary school mate’s under the aegis of Lafia Old Students Association (Losa) as led by Dr Shuaibu Fiasal, the former Executive Secretary National Primary Health Care Development Agency.
