Benue State governor, Samuel Ortom has headed to appeals by football stakeholders in Nigeria to come to the aid of ailing Lobi Stars’ team Manager, Banabas Imenger Snr. who has been admitted for an undisclosed ailment for the past few weeks.
New National Star gathered that Gov. Ortom called the ailing Imenger Snr on Thursday and assured him of his government readiness to foot the bill of his treatment henceforth.
Former Nigeria international, Imenger Snr was reportedly rushed to the Federal Medical Center, Makurdi a few weeks ago for an undisclosed ailment.
A situation, we gathered Lobi Stars management led by Mick Idoko has been doing their bid by taking care of him in their little way as he spent days and night at the hospital.
However, the elated ex-Nigeria international and the current team managers of the state-owned Nigeria Professional Football club, Lobi Stars has thanked Gov. Ortom in advance for coming to his aid, while thanking the management of Lobi Stars and football stakeholders in Nigeria for leaning their supports on him at this critical moment of his life.
We can authoritatively reports that, Imenger’s ailment would soon be discovered as he has was referred to Fertile Ground Hospital, Jos where extensive tests have been carried out on him for diagnosis at the Federal Medical Center, Makurdi.
