Fight against insecurity: No going back, Soludo vows

The Anambra State Governor, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo said his administration has initiated more strategies to fight insecurity and restore the pride of the state as the safest states.

Governor Soludo was speaking during a Mass to commemorate his 62nd birthday, on Thursday, at the Governor’s Lodge, Amawbia.

Soludo who dedicated in remembrance of all those who have been kidnapped and killed needlessly in the criminality that pervaded the state, said he is determined to make Anambra a liveable state.

While pointing out and celebrating his life, Governor Soludo asked Ndi Anambra to use the opportunity offered by God to get committed to the work of building a liveable and prosperous smart mega-city and prayed that the God-given potential for the state would begin to manifest ceaselessly.

“No criminal will be comfortable in Anambra state.

So we warn criminals and ask them again to flee the state or come out and surrender their ammunition, so as to benefit from the empowerment program of the state government.”

In a homily, Rev. Fr. Dominic Anyalogbuna said that everything happens according to God’s saving plan, stating that the Governor’s sixty-two years represents his spiritual and earthly journey on earth and experiences.
