Former FK Liepaja of Latvia midfielder, Luqman Gilmore who is currently on holidays, told New National Star Newspaper that Six months to end of his contract with his club talk to me about renewal, in which I turn down ,because I don’t see myself staying another year at the club ,
He added that his agent is already in talk with few clubs that shows interest, in the coming days we will make decision, I’m relax getting myself ready for the new season.
The former National team player also took time off his busy schedule to visit the Royal father of his home town.
“I went to the palace to pay homage to His Royal Majesty Oluwo of Iwoland to thank him for everything he is doing in Iwoland,” he told New National Star newspaper.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder has represented Nigeria at U17 and U23 levels and his greatest achievement will probably be when I got invited to the national team u17 which didn’t turn out how I wanted .
Luqman revealed that football strength is his brain , how I read the game break up attack and build the play .
He stated that his major weakness is Injuries are part of football it’s comes weather you likes it or not but it’s really a tough moment for any player, you are in pain, you can’t do what you love , you feel helpless, you can’t help your teammates and can also affect your position in the team but I tried to remain positive and just focus on getting back whenever I got injured
Gilmore said that “I think to be a successful football player you need to be discipline and dedicated to the game and you must work really hard .”
He concluded that “What I like about football is whenever I get on the pitch all the worries goes away, football is part of me.”
