Femi Gbajabiamila, the president’s chief of staff, officially toured the N21 billion Presidential Clinic in the Presidential Villa in Abuja Wednesday.
In 2022, the administration of former President Muhammadu Buhari conceptualized and implemented the clinic.
It was constructed to reduce the first families, top government officials, and visiting presidents’ frequent medical tourism. Gbajabiamila gave the facility a good rating and expressed satisfaction with the building in remarks made following the tour. He continued by saying that the project’s budget was used wisely.
Gbajabiamila commented, “There has been a lot of talk about this clinic, not just today, even when I was in the National Assembly as Speaker,” regarding his assessment of the establishment.
