Niger State Governor, Mohammed Umaru Bago felicitates with the former Military President, Gen. Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida on his 83rd birthday.
The Governor, through a birthday message by his Chief Press Secretary, Bologi Ibrahim, describes the former Nigerian leader as a patriotic elder statesman, and an embodiment of honor and service who has served the country diligently and commitment.
He observes that the celebrant has been consistently involved in selfless service for the unity, stability, and progress of the nation as well as the wellbeing of citizens .
The Governor further acknowledges that the former Nigerian leader, who always craves for excellence, prioritizes competence, which is why numerous policies and programmes were implemented with huge success under his leadership as the Military President.
He says the celebrant has, no doubt, carved a niche for himself and has become a mentor to many Nigerians.

Umar Bago described the former military leader as an epitome of wisdom and knowledge whose leadership style has impacted all facets of human and Infrastructural development across the country.
The governor noted that Nigerians will continue to remember his patriotism to stride to the oneness and unity of the country insisting that “IBB will continue to be an elder statesman that his commitment to the peaceful and harmonious co-existence of the country is not negotiable.”
He appreciates Allah for all His countless blessings on the celebrant and prays to Allah for good health, sound mind and more wisdom for him.
