Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara has praised President Bola Tinubu for his steadfast backing during their “battles” together.
Speaking at Opobo Town’s St. Paul’s Anglican Church, Fubara made the claim.
He declared that God “does not make any mistakes” and that everything occurs for a reason.
“It has not been easy, I can say that,” he continued. Many of the individuals who began this trip with us should have been present as well; sadly, they are not. Only God knows why. We are unable to challenge God.
“I’m glad to give God Almighty the honor back, to express my gratitude, and to give me more strength to go on. However, no conflict can be greater than God.
“First and foremost, I want to thank God for our beloved President—he has been an amazing parent. He has provided assistance, and I can honestly state that it is thanks to him that we are in this position.
“My family, I want to thank you once more. The fact is that they are suffering as a result of this reason. All you need to do is have strength and realize that you’ll get me back eventually. But these folks own me for the time being.
