Nasarawa State Governor and Chairman of the North Central Governor’s Forum, H.E. Abdullahi A. Sule is set to depart for the People’s Republic of China as part of a presidential delegation today.
This was contained in a press statement signed by the governor’s Chief press secretary Ibrahim Addra and made available to journalists on Sunday in Lafia the Nasarawa State Capital.
The delegation is expected to visit major Chinese industries on a tour of renewable energy technology manufacturing facilities.
The visit is in line with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s vision of actualizing Nigeria’s Green Industrial Revolution; the centerpiece of which is the siting of Nigeria’s first Green Industrial Zone, Evergreen City, in Nasarawa State.
Engr. Abdullahi Sule’s inclusion in the team and Nasarawa state choice to host Africa’s first ever eco-industrial park is yet another pointer to the state steady progress and the enviable position attained under Governor Sule’s unparalleled stewardship.
New National Star recalled that the governor had on similar trip last week to India, met with a top tractors manufacturing company with the aim of wooing them to invest in Nasarawa State.
