Gov. Sule tasks Christian Political appointees to love each other

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has charged Political appointees in his administration who are of the Christian Faith to embrace each other as brethren of the same religion.

The Governor gave the advice while playing host to representatives of the Christian Community in Nasarawa State, who paid him a Christmas and New Year homage at the Government House in Lafia, the State Capital.
Sule who described love as a panacea to peaceful coexistence said it is by this the appointees would be seen as true Christians.
According to him, “you can not be a true Christian until you forgive whoever offends you, therefore you have to forgive whoever that have offended you”.
Sule who commended the leadership of CAN and the entire Christian Community in the State for the visit, thanked them for their support to his administration.
While charging them to always live in peace with one another, he assured that his administration will continue to work for the peace of the State.
Earlier, Chairman Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the State, Reverend Sunday Emmah, said the visit was an annual homage that is paid to the Governor after the Christmas and New Year celebrations.
Emmah who commended the governor for handling the security situation of the State said since his assumption in Office the area has continued to witness relative peace.
While applauding him for his numerous achievements so far, he called on him not to relent in his effort.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of the most peace friendly Governor in the North by the leadership of the Women Wing of Christian Association of Nigeria in the 19 Northern States.
