Governor Alia Pledges Peace, Better Living For Benue People.

Governor of Benue State Hyacinth Alia has informed the populace that his administration will continue to work toward securing a better standard of living and a state free from violence, where peace, love, harmony, and prosperity shall rule supreme.

In a letter to the state’s populace, the governor revealed this and expressed hope that better times were coming for everyone.

He argued that the chance to show one another affection, exchange gifts, and spend quality time with friends, family, and the less fortunate should all be provided by the anniversary of the birth of Jesus Christ.

According to Gov. Ália, Christmas is an opportunity for people to embrace the timeless virtues of forgiveness, tolerance, and compassion—values that transcend all racial, cultural, and historical distinctions—as demonstrated by the birth of Jesus Christ.

This year’s Yuletide, he said, was special because it was the first time he had been governor and he was given the responsibility of leading a democratically elected office. He promised, on behalf of his staff, to never fail the people.

The governor, while urging the people of Benue to avoid actions that disrupt unity, counseled them to learn how to coexist peacefully with one another, regardless of their political, ethnic, or religious beliefs.

“Always be on the lookout for their media manipulation, which is frequently disguised as press conferences, staged video clips, doctored audio files, and massage. Be on the lookout for those who have abandoned their main legislative duties, which were assigned to Abuja, in favor of inciting hatred in the minds of the populace in an effort to drive a wedge between them.”

The governor advised everyone to remember to visit the sick and to give shelter to those who, in particular, the internally displaced people, were forced from their homes due to violence or insurrection and were unable to celebrate Christmas at home with their families.
