Anambra Progressives Youth Initiative (APYI), has congratulated the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance APGA, for making the list of the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC.
This was disclosed in a press release signed by the National President and Secretary of the Group, Nchekwube, Tony Dunga and Chika Ibeneme respectively.
According to the release, “Owing to the successful conduct of the Governorship Primary Election of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), recently held at Awka, Anambra State, we resolved as follows;
“Anambra Progressives Youth Initiatives (APYI) heartily Congratulates Rt. Hon. Chief Sir Chukwuma Micheal Umeoji for his emergence as the flagbearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA for the scheduled November 6, 2021, Governorship Election in Anambra State.
“We reiterate our earlier position, that as the Candidate/Flagbearer of APGA for the said election, we reassure of our full support and total commitment towards the election campaign of Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Micheal Umeoji (Oba Aguata), and to ensure the victory of APGA in the scheduled Anambra State Governorship Election of November 6, 2021.
“We deeply appreciate and adore the National Leader/Chairman, APGA Board of Trustees and the Executive Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency, Chief Sir Dr. Willie Maduaburochukwu Obiano (Akpokuedike Global), for his good works been done in Anambra State, especially those flagships/Signature Projects like the Anambra International Passenger and Cargo, Awka Township Stadium, Anambra International Conference Center, etc.
“We reassure Ndi Anambra that Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Umeoji is most qualified for the Governorship seat of Anambra State, having served as a former Local Government Council Chairman, and a two-times Honourable Member of the Federal House of Representatives at the National Assembly. He is Humble, Reliable, Courageous, God-fearing, and above all, he is a core APGA faithful ndi Anambra yearns for.
“We beseech the Executive Governor of Anambra State, who is the National Leader of APGA, to accept and embrace the Candidature of Rt. Hon. Chukwuma Micheal Umeoji as the Flagbearer of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA); See him as his son that will succeed him in the consolidation of his administration as the Governor of Anambra State come March 17, 2022.
