Hardship, Insecurity: Tinubu In Emergency Meeting With State Governors, FCT Minister

Chief Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FTC), Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, and other stakeholders are present for President Bola Tinubu’s emergency meeting.

Vice President Kashim Shettima is present for the meeting, which started on Thursday at roughly 11:30 a.m.

The meeting, which is being held at the State House’s Council Chambers in Abuja, is not unrelated to the country’s ongoing security and economic crises.

To make food more readily available, reasonably priced, and easily accessible throughout the nation, the Federal Government began releasing tons of different grains into the market.

Similarly, the armed forces and other paramilitary groups have worked together to take action against the growing criminal activity.

Following the meeting with the governors, President Tinubu is anticipated to depart directly for the AU conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.

The annual summit of African leaders will take place in Addis Ababa with the aim of addressing the numerous obstacles confronting the continent and determining the most effective way to support the AU’s engagement in its different issues.
