Former Chairman during zero party systems in Benue State Chief Tegh- Tegh Ankyambe has cautioned the Youths to trade cautiously in the protest nationwide strike earmarked to commence 1st of August 2024 in the country.
The erstwhile Buruku Council boss who spoke on Thursday in an interview with New National Star in Makurdi noted the hardship ravaging the country is on alarming proportion urging the federal government to hastened action and proffered solutions to the economic realities faced by Nigerians.
He lamented that some average Nigerians could hardly feed two square meals stressing that the proverty striken in the as demonstrated in the country it made life unbearable especially the present dispensation.
He recalled with dissatisfaction that we never had so bad before the petroluem motor spirit known as fuel hence subsidy was removed it rendered lives meaningless
“For instance people when I retired from state service over Ten years ago as Deputy director in the can you imagine his monthly pensions is 17 k therefore is being challenging to cope with his family. ”
Wonder aloud for the Youths who are roaming about after graduation as result of of lack of job insisting federal and state Government for peace to reign something must be done towards provision of measures to enhance their condition.
According to him, the oftentimes as orchestrated advocating for Youths to embrace farming describing the notion as unleastic pointing out that they not trained for such purposes.
Recalling social woes in recent times in the country are attributed as result of unemployment urging let them hastened action and mitigate the situation for better tomorrow.
