I am in Kebbi to seek for royal blessings and fatherly prayers says Shetima

The vice Presidential candidate of All Progressive Candidate (APC) Senator Kashim Shetima said his in Kebbi State to seek for royal blessings and fatherly prayers.

Shetima stated this yesterday in Birnin Kebbi at Emir of Gwandu’s palace.

“I am here to seek for his royal blessings and fatherly prayers.”

He said :”This visit is also a home coming and I have so much respect for my Father.

He described the monarch as the most kind and compassionate leader, humble,generous, pious, patient and accommodating

Shatima also prayed for peace and unity of Nigeria.

Earlier, Emir of Gwandu, Alhaji Muhammadu Ilyasu Bashar described the visit as a home coming, saying that Shetima is a very humble and loyal son

The traditional ruler added that, already, Kebbi and Borno States have mutually beneficial.

” We are happy with your emergence as a vice presidential candidate and we will fervently pray for your success,” Bashar said.

According to the Chairman of the Kebbi State Council of Chiefs, Nigeria belongs to all Nigerians.

Bashar said:” Nigeria belongs to all of us, although we have our differences in terms of culture, religion and ethnicity.

“Our diversity is our comparative advantage to collectively work towards making Nigeria a greater nation.

“We must also collectively work for sustainable peace, unity and socio-economic prosperity

The APC Vice Presidential candidate, Senator Kashim Shetima was in company of his host, Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, the State Deputy Governor, Rtd Col Samaila Yombe Dabai,SSG, Babale Umar Yauri, and Commissioners.
