‘I Make Music For Adults, Not Kids,’ Cardi B Replies Critics

Cardi B, the American entertainer, has replied people who criticised her for turning off WAP, a music collaboration between Megan Thee Stallion and herself, when her two-year-old daughter, Kulture, came into the room where she was playing it.

In tweet reply to user Mo Fierce, Cardi B wrote, “Ya needs to stop with this already! I’m not Jojo Siwa! I don’t make music for kids I make music for adults.’

She also said that she was like every other parent around her daughter. “Parents are responsible for what their children listen to and see. I am a very sexual person but not around my child just like every other parent should be.”

Mo Fierce had tweeted, “So ya daughter can’t listen to it but everybody else’s daughter can? @iamcardib AW OKAY! Exactly what I been saying you have an agenda to push with that trash ass label you’re with. Disgusting.”

WAP was a song released last year that glorified sex and the female body, the song was released to both praise and condemnation. A debate ensued on Monday surrounding the morality of her music after the video surfaced.
